During the opening and closing process of the tire vulcanization mold, the guide element and the wear-resistant plate are in a state of heavy load, sliding and dry friction, and the wear is serious after long-term work, which affects the service life of the mold. The laser cladding self-lubricating material Ni-MoS2 and Nano-Cu are used to synergistically modify the iron-based composite coating to replace the existing sintered copper alloy guides, and achieve a benign match with the 40Cr wear-resistant plate. The coated composite powder with micro-nano structure was prepared by mechanical ball mill method, and the microstructure, phase composition, microhardness of Fe-based coatings and friction and wear properties of tire wear plates were studied. The results show that the iron-based self-lubricating coating has the characteristics of self-lubrication, good wear resistance and friction reduction performance, and small wear. The solid lubricant Ni-MoS2 has the effect of lubricating and toughening, and the solid lubricant Cu can reduce the hardness of the coating. At the same time, it plays a role of lubrication. MoS2 and Cu cooperate to form a composite lubricating film layer, and the friction coefficient is significantly reduced. By observing the wear surface morphology, the iron-based coating is abrasive wear and fatigue wear, the nitriding layer of wear-resistant plate has no drawing and scratch. So this wear-resistant coating has broad application prospects.
